Terms of service

The agreement between your business and Ripple Leads when you use the Ripple Leads app.

Last updated October 24, 2026

About these terms

Ripple Leads is operated by Projx Software Inc. ("Ripple Leads", "we", "us"). These terms are an agreement between us and the business that uses Ripple Leads ("you"). By signing in to Ripple Leads or using it, you agree to them on behalf of that business, and confirm you're allowed to. Ripple Leads is for business use only. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.

Accounts

Accounts are by invitation. You're responsible for the people you invite, for keeping sign-ins secure, and for everything done in your team's account. Tell us straight away at hello@ripple-leads.com if you think someone has used it without permission.

What Ripple Leads does, and its limits

Ripple Leads finds businesses in the areas you choose, researches them from public sources with AI, scores them against the settings you give it and writes call briefs. Research comes from websites and listings that can be incomplete or out of date, and AI can misread them. Check anything important before you rely on it. We don't promise any number of leads, sales or other results.

Contacting businesses

Ripple Leads doesn't call, text or email anyone for you. You decide which businesses to contact and how, and you're responsible for following the laws that apply when you do. In Canada these include the CRTC's Unsolicited Telecommunications Rules and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL); other places have their own. If a business asks you not to contact it again, respect that.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use Ripple Leads for anything unlawful, deceptive or harassing;
  • sell, publish or share Ripple Leads' research as a list or database outside your own business;
  • share your account with people outside your business;
  • copy, scrape, reverse engineer or overload Ripple Leads, or get around its limits or security;
  • use Ripple Leads to build a product that competes with it.

Google Maps

Ripple Leads uses Google Maps Platform to find businesses. By using Ripple Leads, you agree to be bound by the Google Maps Additional Terms of Service and acknowledge the Google Privacy Policy.

Prices, the wallet and payments

  • Ripple Leads is paid for from a prepaid wallet, in Canadian dollars. You top it up by card through Stripe, and sales tax is added at checkout where it applies.
  • Each result a scan delivers is charged to the wallet at the prices shown in the app. Before a scan starts, Ripple Leads shows what it's expected to cost, and a scan never spends more than your balance. Duplicates, businesses already on your list and websites Ripple Leads couldn't read aren't charged.
  • Credit doesn't expire. Starter credit has no cash value.
  • Auto top-up is optional. When it's on, the card you saved is charged for the top-up you chose whenever your balance falls below the amount you set, until you turn it off.
  • Refunds: you can ask for a refund of unused credit from a top-up within 30 days of buying it. Credit that has already been spent isn't refundable, and starter credit that came with the top-up is removed in proportion.
  • We may change prices. New prices apply only to charges made after the change, and the app shows them before you scan.

Your data

Your settings, notes, lists and the research Ripple Leads produces for you are yours to use in your business, subject to these terms. You give us permission to store and process them to provide Ripple Leads. When your account closes, we delete them as our privacy policy describes.

Our service

Ripple Leads' software, design and content belong to us. These terms give you the right to use Ripple Leads, nothing more. If you send us suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything.

We keep improving Ripple Leads, so features may change. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts Ripple Leads or others at risk. If we close your account without cause, we'll refund any unused credit you paid for.

Third-party services

Ripple Leads relies on other companies' services, including Google, Stripe, Clerk and Anthropic. Their terms apply to your use of them, and we aren't responsible for websites or services we don't control.

Disclaimers

Ripple Leads is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will always be available, error-free or accurate, or fit for a particular purpose.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim about Ripple Leads is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Your responsibility to us

You'll cover our reasonable costs, including legal fees, if a claim is made against us because of how you contacted businesses, or because you broke these terms or the law.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Ripple Leads at any time and ask us to close your account. These terms keep applying to anything that happened before then, and the sections on liability and your responsibility to us continue after the agreement ends.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes will be settled by the courts of Ontario.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and tell you by email or in the app before a significant change takes effect. Using Ripple Leads after that means you accept the new terms.
